Your life theme
If your chart is the map, your incarnation cross is the job description of your aura — the theme your whole life keeps circling, whether you applied for it or not.
It's made of four gates: your Sun and Earth in both your Design and your Personality. The Sun is what shines through you; the Earth is what grounds you. Two calculations, about three months apart, four gates — one cross.
The word itself tells the story.
Incarnation comes from the Latin: in, meaning into, and caro, meaning flesh. Into flesh. Not an idea about a life — a life, in a body. We like to call it your in-carnation: the flesh flower. Your cross is the shape your life grows into, the way a flower grows into its own shape without being told.
Four gates mark its four corners. Two belong to the bloom — your Personality, who you've known yourself to be since your first breath: your Personality Sun and your Personality Earth. Two belong to the root — your Design, what your body carried for the three months before you were born: your Design Sun and your Design Earth. The bloom you show the world, and the root that holds you steady — together they trace the path you walk simply by being yourself.
This isn't a label or a verdict. It's a keepsake of the pattern you were born inside — something to hold up to your life and recognize.
Every cross belongs to one of four quarters — the season of life it serves:
Your quarter flavors everything — the same gate plays differently in a life built for initiating than in one built for mutating.
Your cross doesn't tell you what job to take. It describes the shape your life keeps making: the situations that find you, the role people keep casting you in, the lesson that repeats until it's learned. Most people read their cross and feel strangely seen — "oh, that's what this has all been about."
You don't achieve your cross. You grow into it. It's less a destination and more the direction your pilgrimage was always walking.
Any full chart calculation shows your incarnation cross — look for four gate numbers grouped as your cross, usually near the top of a detailed reading. Our Bloom + Cross and Bloom Complete reports include a full incarnation cross chapter: your four gates, your quarter, and what the theme asks of you — paired with ferments, teas, and rituals like everything else we make.
Bloom + Cross ($64) adds the full incarnation cross chapter to your personal report. Bloom Complete ($88) goes deepest — your whole chart narrative, cross included.
